Earnings just missed analyst expectations, on total sales that fell 22 percent, to $489 million.

Fastenal said said sales to manufacturing customers were down 23 percent, while sales to non-residential construction customer were down 25 percent.

Fastenal shares are trading up over two percent Monday morning.
